Brushing Teeth

Usually Andy is pretty good. We can leave him in his room playing for short amounts of time and he doesn't get into too much trouble. On Sunday, we got Andy bathed and ready for church and then turned on "Cars" for him to watch while Steve and I finished getting ready. We left him alone for maybe 5 to 10 minutes. Steve went to check on him and the next thing I hear is Steve calling me to "come out here"! I get to the hallway and Andy is in his bathroom and has somehow managed to climb onto the counter. He has his feet and legs in the bathroom sink and his toothbrush in his hand and the water running. His pants leg bottoms and feet were soaking wet and he's grinning from ear to ear, just so proud of himself for brushing his own teeth!

No!

Currently Andy's favorite word is "No!" No is his answer to everything. When I asked him to put on his coat yesterday morning he told me "No Way!" to which I promptly told him "Yes Way!" Who knows where he gets these things!

His favorite movie is Disney's "Cars". The main character, Lightning McQueen ("Queen") is how Andy refers to the movie. He will tell us "Queen, TV" so we will put the movie on for him. He knows all the main characters (Queen, Sally, Doc and Mater).

He got a roller coaster for Christmas from Grandma and Grandpa Keiser. After about 5 times of going down the correct way, he decided that riding down backwards would be more fun. We're holding our breath hoping he doesn't try to ride down standing up.
